Careers panels are the perfect way for students to learn about business sectors and the variety of job roles within them. Our interactive format enables students to ask volunteers on the panel their own questions about careers journeys, job roles, skills and motivation. It is also an opportunity to discuss the different routes into the sector including apprenticeships, degree apprenticeships and graduate programmes. The Leeds Manufacturing Festival Apprenticeship Careers Panel at Mount St Mary’s will feature a panel made of current and former apprentices from manufacturers in Leeds.

Chaired by Ahead Partnership, the session takes place on video call with a group of students, their teachers and five/six business volunteers.
Our virtual interactive quiz format encourages students to ask business volunteers their own questions about career journeys and key skills for employment.
